Marseille soap is crafted using a traditional hot process called “saponification.” It contains only natural vegetable oils, water, and soda — no coloring, no fragrance, no preservatives. The result is a gentle, eco-friendly soap that respects both skin and nature.

Are all your soaps made in Marseille?

Yes. Our soaps are produced in partnership with Le Sérail, one of the last remaining traditional soap factories in Marseille, following centuries-old artisanal methods.

Are Crains Dégun products suitable for sensitive skin?

Absolutely. Our soaps are hypoallergenic and fragrance-free (unless naturally scented). They’re safe for all skin types — including dry, sensitive, or allergy-prone skin.

Do you offer international shipping?

We currently ship within the United States and will soon expand to Canada and Mexico. Orders over $55 in the U.S. qualify for free shipping.

How can I tell if a Marseille soap is authentic?
